The Beauty of Beadwork
When most people think of crafts, they might think of paper, fabric, or wood. But there’s a whole world of possibilities when it comes to creating with unusual mediums. That’s where I come in – I create art with glass seed beads.
There’s something magical about these tiny beads. They come in every color of the rainbow and can be arranged in infinite patterns. When I sit down to create a piece, I feel like I’m painting with beads. Each individual bead is like a brushstroke, and together they form a picture that’s uniquely my own.
The Inspiration Behind My Art
One of my favorite things about beadwork is that it can be used to capture the beauty of the world around us. I love to create designs inspired by nature – flowers, animals, and landscapes. There’s something meditative about sitting down with my beads and recreating the patterns and colors of the natural world. It’s like I’m bringing a little piece of the outdoors inside.
But I also like to create more abstract designs. Sometimes I’ll start with just a vague idea in my head, and as I work with the beads, the design will take shape. It’s like the beads themselves are guiding me, showing me where they want to go.
